Celebrating Leah

“The conclusions I’ve come to so far are that I want to be passionate about what I do, help people…”

Leah Battista was a remarkable young woman who’s life was cut tragically short by an undiagnosed pulmonary embolism.  In the 20 short years that she lived, Leah had an outsized impact on all that were privileged enough to know her.  In keeping with her vibrant, kind and generous spirit, a celebration of her life was held on February 25, 2018.  The ambition for that special day was simple: to allow all who knew her to come together to celebrate and pay tribute to the impact she had on their lives and, for everyone else, to ‘meet her’ for the very first time.  The program from that day is presented below for all those who wish to experience – or re-experience – the heart-felt and fitting tributes to a very special soul.

To carry on Leah’s unfulfilled destiny of wanting to help people, the Leah Battista Foundation was announced at her Celebration of Life to ensure that her spirit’s legacy lives on to help create a better, kinder world.  We invite you to ‘meet’ Leah, our Foundation’s inspiration.
